Terms of Service
Effective 1 October 2026
These terms govern your use of TripJoe at tripjoe.app. By using TripJoe you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old. Keep access to your email or sign-in provider secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Your content
You own the trips and other content you create. You give us permission to store, process and display that content as needed to run TripJoe, including showing it to people you share it with. When you turn on a share link, anyone with the link can view that trip.
Acceptable use
- Do not break the law or infringe others’ rights.
- Do not post abusive, misleading or harmful content in trips or community tips.
- Do not scrape, overload, reverse engineer or try to bypass security or usage limits of the service or its map and data providers.
- Do not use TripJoe to extract or resell map, place or route data.
Travel information is an estimate
Routes, travel times, schedules, transit fares, rideshare and taxi prices, parking details, opening hours and place information come from third parties or our own approximations and may be wrong or out of date. Prices marked “~” are estimates. Always confirm details with the operator before you travel. TripJoe is a planning aid, not a booking or navigation service, and we are not responsible for missed connections, fares, fines or other costs.
Third-party services
Maps and place data are provided by Google. By using map features you also agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Parking data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using TripJoe and ask us to delete your account at any time.
Disclaimer
TripJoe is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, travel costs or profits, arising from your use of TripJoe. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are material we will update the effective date above; continuing to use TripJoe means you accept the updated terms.
